| life is bittersweet.
I'll be living with my favorite in SF by
the end of the month. I got the job offer at Fujitsu...as inside sales
representative. My life, loves, and future seem so promising.
yet...
The home stretch on papers and exams is like that last 100m on a 400. ouch.
I didn't think that walking at gradution would be important to me. But
now that my family can't make it...it is. (I'm no longer going to the
commencement ceremony.)
My grandpa's dying and my dad's out in Taiwan. Do I go join him after
graduation? or do I go home to my uncle (who has two weeks to live) and
help mom take care of my grandma (94 and my soulmate)?
When my offer letter came, I was bubbling over with joy. And half an hour later, only tears. |

15 page french research paper.
pending on job offer.
no idea where i'll be after may. SF? san diego? vancouver?
in love with an apartment in the city. also pending.
quitting job at sweet dreams.
grandpa and uncle in critical conditions.

| i know i haven't posted in a long time. thank you caleb for being such an attentive fan.
this past sunday, on my third day of work at Sweet Dreams boutique on
College Ave, i had the occasion to design clothing displays. rad,
no? NO. in the process of putting up (beautifully
fashionable) outfits on the wall, miss thang here lost her balance and
fell off a six foot ladder. after grabbing everything possible to
cushion the fall, i landed on my left ankle and foot, resulting in a
racquetball sized ankle bone and a broken fifth metatarsal. i am
now on crutches in bad weather, hobbling a couple miles to and from
school each day. furthermore, my boss is infuriated that i'm
getting worker's comp on my third day. and mom tells me, "at
least you're not dying and in the hospice like your uncle."
thanks mom.
i'll be in san diego from saturday til monday to visit my uncle. prayers, please.
